BBC World Service now started in 4790 kHz (100 kW power) BBC Uzbek  .

The official website announced that the frequency 1251 kHz, 4790 kHz and 17650 kHz . As well as satellite transmission

TAJIKISTAN/OMAN/THAILAND   4790  on Oct 14 at 1255 UT very poor carrier vs
CODAR, 1259 UT BaBcoCk IS for a bit, 1259.5 UT announcement, 1300 UT 5+1
timesignal, i.e. BBC Uzbek relay for half an hour, but it seems the
carrier comes on way earlier. I imagine it's quite a bigsig into
neighboring Uzbekistan, but why don't the ChiCom jam it? It's only 307 km
191 miles from Dushanbe to Tashkent, unless you're driving:
423 km/263 statutes.

4790-, Oct 11 at 1309 UT, very poor signal with talk, presumed BBC Uzbek
relay. No ChiCom jamming reported anywhere I've seen, so maybe this tactic
is working. Over here, CODAR is the enemy.

4790 kHz 1300-1330 UT TJK * BBC in Uzbek from Dushanbe, Yangi Yul, marked
with * asterix in Aoki Nagoya list, - I guess - likely jammed by western
China mainland in Kashgar? This 4790 kHz TJK transmission IS NOT
registration requested in ITU / HFCC list in A-15 and/or B-15 lists, maybe
is a VEILED target service towards Kashgar western China area?

re BBC Uzbek 1300-1330 UT transmission. Yes, heard and visible the 4790
kHz outlet from 13 UT onwards, on remote SDR unit posts in Tokyo and
Qatar.

In Tokyo scratching noise jamming signal heard on 4790 kHz, but need more
monitoring in coming [northern] wintermonths,
but NOT in Doha Qatar the fundamental 4765 kHz Tajik R Yangi Yul signal
was little stronger than 4790 kHz channel.

Only the Aoki Nagoya list give the extended - freq hopping day by day
change - BBC Uzbek sce schedule from August 1, 2015.

Today Wed Oct 21 // channels observed, mostly CNR1 word and additional
scratching noise jamming signals:
